The MPC-Sponsored CyberGnomes head to Sherbrooke, QC this week (March 4-7) for the Regional Competition – Festival de Robotique Allez CyberGnomes!

Hosted by Université de Sherbrooke, and open to the public, this First Robotics Canada (FRC) Regional event combines the excitement of sport with the rigours of science and technology. High school students showcase their design and engineering skills and compete in Canada’s largest high school robotics competition. Molded Precision Components has been a proud and active industrial sponsor of the CyberGnomes Robotics team based locally out of Clearview Township, since their founding in 2013. In 2018, MPC assumed a Title Sponsor Role, alongside Linear Transfer Automation, based in Barrie.

“Automation and robotics is core in the ongoing growth and development of MPC”, commented Andrew Bird, Director of Strategic Business Development. “We are actively involved with the local academic community and supporting the CyberGnomes in their early STEM journey has been part of that mix since 2013. We are always seeking the best talent & most capable team members to support our growth. Our close connection and sponsorship of the CyberGnomes team is just a win-win all round”
